Our group's research focuses on predicting and understanding non-equilibrium phenomena, topological phases, and correlated states in real quantum materials. We develop and apply advanced ab initio computational approaches to make reliable predictions based on many-body quantum theories and high-performance parallel computing. Recent interests include, but are not limited to, nonlinear optics/transport, quantum geometrical/topological effects, excitonic states, and ultrafast quasiparticle dynamics in two-dimensional materials and their moiré heterostructures.
